I’ll start this blog the same way I started the shoot, jaw on the floor, total awe in my eyes and “WOW!” on my lips. THIS WAS A PARTY! Hosted at the stunning Hotel X in Fortitude Valley in their Bisou XYZ space, you would be forgiven for thinking Cara was a Wedding and Event Organiser and Stylist but party planning is just one of this award winning Hairdresser’s many talents. This was easily one of the most stylish and gorgeous events I have attended. From the beautiful floral pieces integrated into the balloon arrangements to the custom gold drink coasters and bespoke party favours, nothing was overlooked.
Having said all of that, nothing can compare to what an amazing, wonderful group of people were in attendance. Despite being the only person in the room not dressed in white I instantly felt welcomed into this tight knit group of family, friends, colleagues and clients.
I believe you can tell a lot about a business owner and their values by how many of their good friends started off as clients and employees and Cara has them in spades. While 50 years old is definitely a milestone worth celebrating it’s easy to see why so many people came to celebrate Cara and what she means to them.
