Muddy, Sooty and Sunburnt
An incredible day working with Fire Safety Australia. While every little kid dreams of becoming a firefighter, the realities are far from idyllic. We were blown away by the professionalism, resilience and brawn of the men and women of FSA and the grueling work they perform in the pursuit of better education and preparedness.
From the safety of our long lenses the heat and even sound of the fires were at times overwhelming and yet this is just another day at the office for this incredible team. It was truly awesome to watch the guys in action and to see the facilities they have to simulate different emergency situations.
We are so grateful that our area of work allows us to glimpse behind the curtain of some of Australia’s most important and often overlooked industries and share their stories, hardships and victories. Whether its battling fires, farming innovations or education our best days are muddy, sooty and sunburnt.
