In the shade of marquees, freshly pressed white table cloths stir gently in the breeze. Condensation runs slowly down beers into ice buckets while City Cats glide by. In the sizzling summer heat, perched over the Brisbane river lies this perfect Oasis.
While we’re no stranger to River Life, its stunning views, tranquil setting and relaxing atmosphere never fails to impress and delight us. ITs truly one of Brisbane’s gems. And it’s here, nestled at the base of kangaroo point cliffs that we’ve come to celebrate Tim and Jo’s 20th wedding anniversary.
We started our shoot with a small stroll along the waterfront stopping along the way to capture some beautiful candid moments and a few cheeky poses in front of our gorgeous Brisbane city skyline. Before long it was time to head back to greet the guests and the rest of the family. With the afternoon sun still bearing down, the beers and wine practically poured themselves as the breeze carried the sound of laughter and revelry down the river.
It was such a pleasure to spend the afternoon photographing and getting to know Jo and Tim, meeting their friends and family and listening to the little anecdotes and stories about their journey together. We are so fortunate in our line of work to meet, share time with and help celebrate love and people like these. We truly cherish these experiences, lessons and moments and carry them with us well after the photos have been framed, blogs written and the next white table cloth is pressed and beers put on ice.
